Windows Canada R61.xx Release

The latest Quicken for Windows Canada release R61.23 is now available to all Quicken Canada customers.

IMPORTANT:
Before you install this update, we recommend performing a One Step Update to ensure your data is up to date. If you use Quicken Mobile or Quicken on the Web, this will also sync your data to the cloud. Additionally, we suggest saving a backup of your data file for added security.

What’s Included:

What’s New

  • You can now see your portfolio Day Change on the Top Movers home page dashboard card.

What’s Improved

  • It is now easier to find and select tax schedules and Tax line items when customizing a category for tax reporting.
  • The investment account pop-up registers now allow smaller vertical resizing.
  • The downloaded transactions banner will update the remaining count immediately after accepting transactions.

What’s Fixed

  • An issue relating to transfer transactions between accounts with associated tax line items in the Tax Schedule and Tax Summary reports.
  • An issue where account-level tax category assignments were not reflected in the Tax Summary report as expected.
  • Issues moving transactions between linked investment accounts and their associated cash accounts.
  • Issues with Overall Total calculations in Investment Performance Report when subtotaling by Security Type.
  • An issue where custom asset classes were excluded from the Portfolio Rebalancer table.
  • An issue with transaction downloads after a file reset, ensuring the full 30-day range is included.
  • An issue causing duplicate transactions when editing categories with pending transactions enabled.
  • An issue that caused incorrect "transfer to the same account" errors when editing transactions.
  • Issues with customized Banking Summary, Cash Flow, and Cash Flow by Tag reports.
  • An issue where dashboard cards (like Top Spending, Income & Expense, or Portfolio) were excluding separate accounts even if they were explicitly included in the card filter.
  • An issue where manual backup reminders failed to display as expected when exiting Quicken.
  • An issue in Business & Personal where you could not select a hidden account when using the Create Invoice option in the Business toolbar.
  • Data entry issues in Write Check window (category field was not automatically populated with the payee when selected and last used date was not remembered).
  • An issue where hidden accounts were not shown in the Create Invoice dropdown.
  • Issues causing application crashes.

Thank you!
