One Step Update Frozen

Has anyone been experiencing unusually long One Step Update times? Mine seems to be stuck on "updating your accounts". I've had to go into the task manager and end the application in order to try again. Same thing happens … even when I simply try to update only one account.

Hello @levy76,
Thank you for sharing your experience. To help troubleshoot this, please provide more information. How long are you waiting before killing the process in the Task Manager?
If you perform a sync to the Quicken Cloud during One Step Update, try unselecting that and see if it helps.
Do you keep your Quicken file directly on your local hard drive? Is it synced to any cloud service, such as OneDrive, iCloud, or Dropbox? If it is, please try pausing that service while accessing your Quicken file, and test to see if that resolved the issue.
I look forward to your reply!

Waiting at least 5 minutes before killing the process in task manager. I don't sync to Quicken Cloud, and only the backups are stored in iCloud. The main file is stored on the hard drive.

Thank you for your reply,
If the issue just started yesterday, then I'd recommend trying again to test if the issue is persisting. There was an issue yesterday, but it should be resolved now.
If this issue has been going on longer than that, when did you first notice it? Did it start shortly after a program or computer update? If possible, try letting the One Step Update run longer before killing the process. If there is a connection issue causing the delay, allowing the One Step Update to complete should allow you to see the error message/code.
Thank you!
