Adding new download accounts without going through Intuit servers [Edited]

Does anyone know how to add new accounts and download data via Direct Connect without going through Intuit servers? I do not have relationship with Intuit, and do not want to share my information with a non-financial entity.

Hello @wrb,
Thank you for coming to the Community with this question. Direct Connect should not involve going through our aggregation service; your information is stored on your financial institution's servers (or whatever 3rd party they contract with). However, not all financial institutions support Direct Connect. If the financial institutions you do business with do support it, then you should have the option to connect that way in your Quicken.
To connect via Direct Connect, backup your Quicken file, then go to Tools>Add Account. Search for your financial institution. If the financial institution offers multiple connection types, you will see an Advanced Options link.
Click that link, review the information screen, then click Continue. On the next screen, make sure Direct Connect is selected. Then click Next and follow the prompts.
Many financial institutions that support Direct Connect will require you to go through some form of authorization with them, and they may charge a fee for the service.
If you don't see the Advanced Options link and you're uncertain if your financial institution supports direct connect, you can ask here (please make sure to provide the exact connection option you see in Quicken) or contact Quicken Support to check how it connects.
Please note that if you have Cloud Sync turned on, then your data may be stored on Quicken controlled servers. See this article for more information:
I hope this helps!

I have a Fidelity Investments account that supports Direct Connect, so I know that Fidelity support Direct Connect. However, when I attempt to add a new account at Fidelity Investments, I do not get the Advanced Options you mentioned as show in the following screenshot.
If I click on Next, I get the following screen, which I believes goes through Intuit:
Also, if I add the account without online services, and then try to online services, I get the same pop-up.
Thanks.

Thank you for your reply,
That pop up is an information window that comes up for every financial institution, regardless of which connection option(s) they support.
Not having the Advanced Options link means that Fidelity Investments offers only one connection option. I checked our FIDIR (list of supported financial institutions), and can see the connection method they support is Direct Connect.
Since Direct Connect does not go through Intuit, as long as you are connecting via Direct Connect and have the Quicken Cloud turned off, the information should go directly between Quicken and your financial institution.
Thank you!
