Is there a "higher level" of tech support that I can buy for Quicken?

I am a 30 year power user of Quicken. But from time to time need help with file issues. One example is right now where my file opens for a brief second & then Quicken closes down. The Q tech support person said my file was too large at only 50 MB. I Just want to talk to a technical person who can help with assessing the problem with my file before I go to all the hassle of deleting transactions. I am willing to pay for a higher level of support as a subscription if this is an option.

Premier subscribers already get priority when dealing with customer support, I don't think there's a higher support tier than that.

You might try calling back and getting a different person when they give you a stupid script answer like that.

Note that a 50MB data file is relatively small, and that the size of the data file has no impact on any problem you might have.

But I will also say it is very hard to determine what is causing a problem like that and there isn't really any support level that is going to do a detail dive into what is wrong from what I know. I think your best bet is to create a thread here in the forum and describe what you are seeing the best and see if any of the suggestions help.

Q tech support gave you a bunch of BS. My data file is 114MB, all transactions, no attachments and runs fine on Premier 27.1.61.21.

Try starting Quicken without opening a data file by holding down the CTRL key when you start Q. It should start with a blank screen with only the File and Help menus available. If that fails, it has nothing to do with your data file and I'd do a re-install of Quicken.

-splasher using Q continuously since 1996
    - Subscription Quicken - Win11 and QW2013 - Win11
