same security download 8X; How to delete 7 of them w/o spending hours?

hello,

For some reason, some of my fidelity brokerage transactions (buys/sells and dividend payouts) are showing up duplicated 8x (Octicated?). Is there an easy way to delete via some kind of ID number 7 of then for the dozens of transactions that are affected? I tried filtering the FITID number but that doesn't really help. I have thousands of lots that are affected by this.

Thank you for letting us know you encountered this issue. Was this a one time occurrence, or do more duplicates download every time you update accounts in your Quicken? Do you have multiples of the same security showing in your Security List, or is the issue that the transactions for the buys/sells and dividend payouts downloaded multiple times?

If this happened recently, restoring a backup from before the problem happened may be the fastest way to remove the unwanted multitude of transactions.

Cleaning up the multiple copies of the same transaction may be a bit trickier, but assuming all the duplicate transactions are 100% identical, sorting by date may be the simplest way. That would cause the original transaction and its copies to all be clustered together. Make sure to backup your Quicken file prior to deleting any transactions. That way, if you accidentally delete something you need to keep, you have a way to recover it.

If they haven't been marked reviewed yet, then the blue dot next to the transactions may also help with identifying them.
