All transactions in my Truist account download correctly. But the balance keeps going wrong by several thousand dollars.
When I recognized this a month ago, I backed up the file before I fiddled with it. I disconnected from Truist, closed and reopened the file, then reconnected to Truist.
Two weeks ago, I manually reconciled my balance and got Quicken to reflect the correct balance. I thought the problem was fixed. Thank God I put the correct balance into the Notes column so I knew for sure the correct balance as of that date.
Today the balance is way off again, although all transactions have been downloaded correctly.
I made an adjusting entry for the difference just so I can see how much money is actually there. But this is MADDENING.
What can I do to permanently fix this issue?
