Merrill Lynch issue

now when updating accounts ML has a new security and will not update….you need to sign into your ML account and you have then 10 minutes to go back to Quicken to update

    The MFA and security measures do come directly from the FI. I suggest reaching out to Merrill Lynch and requesting to speak with the online banking or aggregator departments, as they are generally more familiar with third-party applications.

    Same issue here; mine started about a week ago. I've used ML and Quicken for over 20 yrs. I've reported the issue to ML for their IT group to check. I'm guessing ML updated something with the authentication process, but they didn't code for it to remember our authentication? Not sure but it's been reported. (PS—-Quicken tech support just sends you to ML because they use "Direct Connection").

    Same here. Started around April 9th, give or take a day. Annoying, since I update Quicken daily.

    I have the exact same problem. I try to update & get error messages, then I go to Merrill Lynch & update the permission for them to allow downloads to Quicken and the accounts download. I have to relink all the accounts & it's fine, until the next day when I have to repeat the process. it takes 5 to 6 minutes for each step to complete. Please expedite the correction of this error.
