pie chart graph with rollup (collapsed) categories

I cannot figure out how to get the pie charts to show collapsed (rollup) category totals rather than each individual subcategory. I can create custom reports that collapse the category, but cannot find a way to do that with the pie chart graph. Any idea where this selection is made?

    The graph on the Spending tab just shows top level Categories. Unfortunately it has limited customization options and there is no way that I know of to print this graph.
