Chase Kids First Accounts not showing in Quicken

I've opened 3 Kids First Chase accounts under my main Chase checking-- when I add a Chase account in Quicken, it shows them as separate accounts that can be checked and shared with Quicken-- but only the main Checking actually gets added.
Anyone successfully adding one of these?

Hello @switchfoot,
Thanks for reaching out!
After checking, it looks like Chase First Banking (Kids First) accounts are mainly managed through the Chase Mobile® app and often aren’t fully supported for linking to third-party apps like Quicken. Even if they show up during setup, Chase may block them from actually syncing transactions.
A few quick questions to help troubleshoot:
- When you select the Kids First accounts, do they stay checked after setup or get deselected?
- Are they listed in Quicken under checking, savings, or some other type?
- Do you see any error messages when trying to link them?
- In your Chase online account, are there any notes or restrictions shown next to those accounts?
It might be worth double-checking with Chase support too, since they control which accounts can connect through Quicken.
Let me know what you see!

Hi Jasmine! Appreciate the reply.
When I "add account" in Quicken, then go to the Chase login screen, the page then says “What do you want to link?”
These are the accounts you can link with Quicken:
(Note: Nothing is listed here)
Automatically link new, eligible accounts, including replacement accounts for lost or stolen credit cards. (this is checked)
You’re already sharing data from these accounts:And this spot has the 3 kids accounts already listed alongside my other accounts, greyed out and the checkmark box beside them is checked like all the other accounts.
I click next, next, finish, etc. and back in Quicken it only lists the existing accounts and has them synced.
No errors or messages, and I can't see them under checking/saving/property/etc.

Hello @switchfoot,
Thank you so much for the detailed follow-up!
It sounds like Quicken is recognizing that the Kids First accounts exist within your Chase profile, but Chase isn’t permitting them to fully connect and transmit data through the Quicken sync channel. When the accounts appear greyed out but still checked, that usually indicates Chase is sharing the account metadata (name, status, etc.) but not enabling transaction access.
A few additional notes and steps you can try:
- Chase Permissions: Log in to your Chase account online (not the mobile app), go to “Profile & Settings” > “AccountSafeSM” or “Linked Apps & Services,” and make sure Quicken is fully authorized with the right permissions. Sometimes Chase needs you to manually enable access for child-linked or restricted accounts.
- Check Account Type: Even though they’re technically checking or savings accounts, Chase may internally flag Kids First accounts under a different category (like custodial or sub-accounts), which Quicken may not support syncing yet.
- Contact Chase Support: Since Quicken’s access is governed by what Chase allows through their secure API, it may be necessary to reach out to their technical support team and ask if Kids First accounts can be enabled for third-party access.
Unfortunately, if Chase doesn’t allow transaction sharing for these types of accounts at the API level, they won’t be able to fully sync in Quicken even if they're listed.
Let me know if you see anything different after checking the permissions or speaking with Chase support — happy to continue troubleshooting!
