Update not working

I have had an issue since 4/27/25. The last update I did that worked was on 4/25/25. When I opened up Quicken on the 27th it said my file was gone. I re loaded up a back-up file from 4/23 and ran update and if froze, I had to shut it done with task manger. It has completed updates but it is making very odd changes to account and balance goes to -$30k? I did nothing to cause the issues, it seems to have occured after an update to the program.

    When Quicken said your file was "gone" on the 27th, did it give a specific error message, or was it simply not listed when the program opened? After you restored the backup from 4/23, did things seem normal until you ran the update, or were there already signs something was off? When you say the balance dropped to -$30k, was that in just one account or across several? Have you looked through the transaction history to see if anything unexpected was downloaded—like duplicates, large adjustments, or placeholder entries?
