I'm not quite understanding what you're saying. Please explain "dates over the years didn;t change".

What exactly are you seeing (or not seeing)? What did you expect to see?

And, a bit of punctuation in your message assists greatly with understanding it.

Open up that QIF file with WordPad or NotePad (NOT MS Word) and show/tell us what the dates look like there.

Also, in one of your accounts, click the GEAR icon in the upper right corner, click Register Columns and check "Downloaded Posting Date". What's showing there?

And, there's no fix in Q for this. It needs to be fixed in MS Money or in that QIF file.

At one time Quicken had a Support Article about importing and converting from MS Money into Quicken but I have not been able to find it. Too bad because that was very helpful to me when I imported and converted from Money to Quicken back in 2010.

It is my understanding that MS Money 2000 cannot be imported into Quicken. That MS Money file first needs to be upgraded to MS Money Plus Sunset Edition before it can be successfully imported into Quicken…and there are a bunch of hurdles to be overcome before the process will work correctly.

Also, all of the information I have is for importing/converting MS Money into Quicken US. I do not know if this will work for Quicken Canada.

Here are a couple of threads that discuss this in more detail:

Also, MS no longer officially supports downloading of the MS Money Sunset Plus program file. I found a few places that you can try (3 are for MS Money Plus Sunset Deluxe and one is for Home and Business) but I did not test them out to confirm if they are good files or not:
