Filtering By Tags in Budget View

I have asked about this in the past and it has been on my wish list for years. Been patiently waiting for Quicken for MAC to add the capability to filter via Tags in Budget view. Because you do not have this feature I must export from a saved report that allows me to filter out tagged transactions but then I must export via CSV file to excel and do my budgeting there. I am not willing to hack this using budget sub category schemes - this should be a feature in the budget view outright. There are tag fields for a reason and I use them robustly. Sad that you cannot filter on them in Budgets. I'd like to stop using Excel and use Quicken exclusively. Please let me know if this is anywhere on the roadmap.

I'd note that that Idea currently has 18 votes, even after nearly 6 years. It needs at least 30 votes to be forwarded to the developers for their consideration.

I'd also note that there were several posts from the Quicken Mac team last year asking people to provide input into the budget features they wanted, as the developers planned a revamp and added functionality for budgeting. Hopefully you were able to contribute to that process to express your desire for Tag functionality. I am expecting we'll start to see the results of their budget overhaul work sometime later this year, but none of us know what changes the developers are planning.
