Transfers not working

I have the transfer detection boxes checked but when I transfer funds from one bank acct to another Q does not show it as a transfer. Also not when I pay a credit card from a bank acct. I've been handling this by using a category I named Exclude — which I excluce from reports — but I'd prefer to use the Q facility if it worked.

Running classic deluxe on Win 11 — but it's been like this for years.

    Thank you for sharing your experience. To assist with this issue, please provide more information. Are the problem transactions downloading from your financial institution, or are these transactions that you're inputting manually? Which financial institution(s) is this happening with? What happens when you try to edit the category to mark the transaction as a transfer?
