CC-800 Error

First off, I am aware of the process to reset my accounts after the CC-800 error. I have had to reset my accounts three (3) times in the last week.

Why hasn't the root cause been addressed?

Why are we paying for broken software? Is this acceptable at Intuit?

What I would like is a commitment to fix the software issue, not instructions on how I'm supposed to work around the bug.

I've been getting multiple Quicken errors for the last two weeks - CC-803, CC-929, and today CC-800. Support has been no help as they tell me to follow steps that I've already done scores of times.

    Hello @rleifield,

Thanks for joining this thread to share that you are also experiencing an issue.

To help troubleshoot, please provide more information. When did you first notice this issue? When I check on our end, I do see multiple instances of CP_Account_Not_Found errors with multiple different financial institutions (Bank of America, Citi Cards, Chase, American Express, etc.). Which financial institutions are you receiving a CC-800 with?

    Let me know!

I'm having the same CC-800 problem with 6 of my 7 financial institutions. Has happened 3 times over the last week, requires my to reconnect on the bank's web site again. Usually but not always I have to reenter my logon info and save it to the vault all over again. Very annoying!

    Hello All,

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue!

We know how disruptive CC-800 errors can be and truly appreciate your ongoing patience. While this error is often linked to restoring backups or using multiple Quicken files, we understand that’s not always the case. Please know our team is actively working behind the scenes to make this issue easier to resolve and less likely to occur moving forward.

    Thank you!

I have been having a related issue recently. The transactions for my Chase credit card were not updating even though Quicken reported that it had successfully completed the update with the bank. Tech support had me make a copy of my database and when I logged in with the copy the transactions all were downloaded correctly.

I now have to reestablish all the links to my banks for all my other accounts in this new copy of the database.

obviously there was something in my previous database that prevented the transactions from being downloaded and this was corrected when I created a copy of the database and.

but how does something get entered into the QDF file that causes this malfunction? Obviously, the only way that something can be entered into the database is by the Quicken program. There is something wrong with or missing from the software code that is introducing faulty information into the database.

this is not a user mistake, it is faulty software that needs to be corrected.

The bill reminders and account updates are probably the most important parts of the Quicken program for me and they seem to also be the areas with the most bugs.

today I noticed that the amount of my recurring paycheck is shown at more than twice the correct amount as a future transaction. I made no changes to the paycheck information, Quicken did this fr some unknown reason.

whoever is monitoring this post, please don’t label it as a “rant”. I am just stating facts hoping to get some attention from someone in charge of quality control at Quicken.
