As of this morning, while I can download transactions, I still can not submit a bill payment. When trying to do so, it errors and the log says "web service call failed". I am using DC. This is a week without service. Frustrating.

BTW - I have an open ticket with Truist on this issue since earlier in the week and they said they would contact me back either way with information but I have not heard anything from them in days, even a simple status.

I successfully transmitted a Bill Pay to Truist today. It prompted me to enter details for a new Online Payee (Quicken apparently discarded the previous entry for this Online Payee).
So, all in all, this was a pretty quick remediation of the various problems by Truist. Thank you Quicken team for whatever influence you may have had in the effort!

I still have the problem of transmitting a bill pay to Truist as of this am. I did talk to a Truist rep this am, and my ticket is still open and they said it has been included with a master ticket because many other users have the same problem and they are working to resolve it. In the meantime, they said their website bill paying option should be working as a temporary backup.

So far so good for me, I have been uploading payments and downloading transactions all thru the weekend.
Hopefully they will sort the rest of you out. AS noted, I've been through worse. One particular quicken billing system upgrade thru Susquehanna Bank (who was shortly thereafter acquired by BB&T…who would go on to merge with Suntrust to form Truist) was an absolute disaster. Took me several weeks to recover, and I was eventually brought into several deep dive live debug sessions with the developers to sort it out.

NOTE: During the time I was unable to upload a Bill Pay payment to Truist, the related check sat in my register with SEND status. It did not change (did not send) during each OSU. On July 5th, I altered the date on that transaction, bumping it into the future by a few days. After saving the transaction, I ran an OSU and got the successful transmission.
For those of you with "stuck" checks in SEND status, I suggest changing the pay date on your check(s) and re-saving it before attempting your next OSU. Not sure it will work, but I hope this helps someone.

Very disappointed in Truist for lack of communication on the status of Quicken Bill pay. its been over a week with no communication or a path forward. [Removed - Sarcasm/Rant]

@drbob@ I believe you are using Direct Connect (Institution = "Truist Online Banking - DC"). May you've tried this, but…
Mine has been working fine ever since I re-created one "stuck" outbound Bill Pay transaction (by changing the date and re-saving). Other, newly created SEND payments have successfully transmitted since. Truist sent me an email each time noting that a new Payee had been created, even though they are the same Online Payees I have used for years. When I login via web browser to Truist, I can see the upcoming transactions (created in Quicken) in the Upcoming Payments Bill Pay list so I am confident they will actually get paid.
One oddity: The Status of these recently SENT payments (in the Truist register) have the Pay By date recorded in both the "Process On" and "Deliver By" fields. One of my payments definitely requires a paper check, so needs to be "processed" (and mailed) days in advance; normally such a check has a Process On date that is roughly a week before the Pay Date. Nevertheless, the upcoming payments list on the Truist website shows that check is indeed in "Processing" state (its Pay Date is 6 days from now).

@smutschler I tried the 'change the date' trick, and that still did not work for me. Still getting the OL-301-A error on the payment being sent. If I do a DC OSU and do not send the payment [uncheck the send box], it processes correctly for downloads only.
Still some issues out there community! Will keep trying.

Maybe delete the unsent transaction from register and resubmit. Make sure the date is 8 working days in the future. Since it hasn’t been sent yet, you won’t lose anything.
