CC-800 , deactivating accounts
[Removed - Rant]
FWIW -I have the same exact problem as those posting here- ( for over a month ) .. The first time - it was a CC-800 error, the last two times .. it's just a circle with a line threw it. When clicked, it shows - add account - as the existing ones have been (and keep getting) deactivated. At first, it was only a few accounts - mostly credit cards. Then it started with various brokerage houses. Today - 6-11-25 it's all of my accounts.
The only solution ( > month ) backup, create new copy and re-add your accounts. Fine if you have only one but like most— I have many…in my situation over 15.
The most troublesome part is support- After speaking ( and chatting ) with multiple reps, each one has acted as though it was the " first time " they have heard of this problem. First, insinuating that the issue was on my end, as though I changed something and created this mess. Then, the finger was pointed at the " other guy " ( banks and brokerage houses ).
Management needs to send out a mass email acknowledging there is a problem, working on it, and will keep its customers updated with a timeline as to when it's fixed. [Removed - Speculation]
Bottom line -
As you can tell, I'm beyond frustrated.
I have used Quicken since the early 90s with relatively few problems. There have always been issues ( minor ones ) —but nothing like the mess of last few years. [Removed - Rant]

Hello @Mrtanman,
Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed account of your experience—We're sorry that your support interactions left you feeling unheard. It’s completely understandable to feel frustrated when so many of your accounts continue to disconnect.
We know how disruptive CC-800 errors can be, and we’re very grateful for your continued patience. While these errors are often linked to restoring backups or working with multiple data files, we recognize that isn’t always the case. Our development team is currently working on ways to better detect, manage, and reduce the frequency of this error to improve the overall experience.
Your feedback is being heard and will be shared with the appropriate teams.
Thank you!
(CTP-12582)-Quicken Anja
