When is the next planned Release?

It seems like it has been a while since the last release, is there a release schedule?

@Jeff76 there isn't an upcoming release schedule, but if you go here -
you can see the latest available release with release notes. Sometimes the latest release is staged and not available for everyone, but you can still download it to try it out.

It is my understanding that Help will reflect only the current general release version, not the staged release version. UPDATE: Clarification…Help will show the staged release and not the prior general release if the user has already updated their installation to the staged release.
What is showing right now in Help is R62.16 because that is the current general release version and it shows the notes for that (along with some of the more recent older versions).
When R63.19 moves from being a staged release to a general release it will be reflected in Help as the new general release. Since I rarely update my installation to staged releases Help is where I go to see when a new general release has become available.
The Manual Patch Update file (and release notes) might be the current general release version but, as you noted, it might also be a new staged release version. The Support Article, however, does not tell you which type of release it is.
To find out if a new version is a staged or general release we need to view the new version Announcement in this forum or go to Help Release Notes and/or Check for Updates.
But getting back to the question raised by @Jeff76: As you mentioned, there is no future release schedule made available to us. We only find out about new versions when they are released.

@Boatnmaniac Help shows the staged version if the user is selected for the staged release. I know this first hand.
Here is what my Help→Check for updates, indicates right now. This version (R63.21) is a staged release.
This is what my Help→Release Notes has for latest release notes. R63.20 is also a staged release that I installed. It also indicates that another staged R63.21 is available for download.

Another option with the program open is to go to Help > Release Notes (to see what the most recent releases are) and to go to Help > Check for Updates (to see if there is a release available for you to update to).
As a side note: My preference is to download and install the Manual Patch Update file from the link provided by @CaliQkn. IMO, that is a more robust and reliable software update method than allowing the software to update itself.

@Boatnmaniac I think when you click on Help→Release Notes, it just gives you the release notes of the Quicken versions installed on your computer only. And, Help→Check for updates, doesn't always correctly indicate if there is a new version available.

@CaliQkn - I should have mentioned in my last post that there is an exception to Help showing only the general release versions: Help will show a staged release if the installation has already been updated to it. My bad. I've corrected my previous post to reflect this.
While the R63.19 Announcement post has not been updated to show it is a general release it is possible (probable) that it never will be since R63.21 Hot Fix has superceded it.
R63.20 was also a Hot Fix that appears to have been quickly superceded by R63.21, as well. That happens sometimes when a Hot Fix is released and it is found that one of the things that was supposed to be fixed was not or if they found that it introduced a new issue.
Note that Hot Fix releases are never staged. They are pushed out as general releases right from the start because they are intended to fix one or more critical software issues. They are priority releases that staging would deprioritize so they go straight to being general releases.
My help and OSU summary also shows since early this morning that R63.21 is now available for download and I am getting prompted to update to it. I anticipated this late last night when I saw another post thread discussing R63.19 and R63.21. Software Engineering owns releasing new versions and determining if they will be staged or general releases and they are located in India. That was a heads up that there would be a new general release Hot Fix taking place here today. And that is exactly what we are now seeing.
The Announcement for R63.21 has not yet been posted but that should be made sometime today or tomorrow. Those Announcements are manually entered by a Quicken Moderator or Administrator so there is often some delay encountered in the Announcement getting posted/updated. It all depends on how soon one of them sees the release information notification coming from their Engineering.

To answer your original question, there's no fixed schedule for program releases. They're released when Q decides that they're ready. Many go to "staged" release first, but as discussed above, Hot Fixes can come out at any time and sometimes in quick succession.

@Quicken Anja , thank you for the R63.xxx update today. Have been waiting to update to R63.19 after the hot fixes 63.20 and 21 have resolved the possible issue with R63.19. Hopefully HF63.21 works so I can do a Manual Update…, THX again for the update…

I'm a bit surprised that these hot fixes were staged released. Maybe that's because R63.19 was never made a general release? Just a guess.
Anyway, the Manual Patch Update file for R63.21 is now available for downloading at
