Fidelity Cut-Over Migration problem

When "upgrading" the connection to Fidelity today, Quicken Classic re-downloads a couple of months transactions. It also offers to treat core account money market fund transactions as cash transactions, which I have been doing anyway prior to this connection change. How should I manage the connection change without ruining all the transactions I've already entered? Do I just delete all the new downloaded transactions?

I deleted my duplicates. I believe the reason they appear is that EWC+ uses different transaction identifiers than DC so Quicken thought they were new.

Perhaps I should clarify: the newly downloaded transactions are duplicates that have already been previously entered in Quicken.

Interesting— since I restored my Quicken file from a backup from before the Fidelity change, it's no longer prompting me to migrate to the new connection. Maybe they're re-tooling the upgrade?

I also restored back to 7/29 and all of the 7/31 Fidelity transactions flowed in perfectly.

Pre-restoration, I was getting no downloaded Fidelity transactions and the Online View was stuck on 7/30 @ 3:00 am.

For some reason, I expect the "fix" to screw me up again.

    Ahhh, this too shall pass.

    Hello All,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, and I’m sorry to hear about the trouble with the updated Fidelity migration.

To better understand what’s happening and pass the right details along to the appropriate team, could you please provide the following information:

    • How did you go through the cutover?
Did you deactivate and reactivate the account manually, or did you follow the Fix It flow when prompted?
    • For the transaction issues:
What is the date range of the affected transactions, and approximately how many are missing?
    • Screenshots:
      We’ll also need screenshots showing:
      • The transactions you're seeing in Quicken
      • What you're seeing for the same time period on the Fidelity website
      • Any placeholders or unusual entries you’re noticing
Please be sure to redact or crop out any personal or sensitive information before uploading. Refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach screenshots. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.
    • Please submit your log files
Navigate to Help > Report a problem to do so. image.png

Once we have that info, we’ll be able to investigate further.

    Thank you!

The Fidelity cutover/migration did not work. I also posted in Report Problem. I have been using Quicken since DOS days, so not new to the software. The cutover was a complete failure for Netbenefit accounts. Had to roll back to a previous Quicken backup. I followed the prompts to re-authorize access (remove the zzz and eliminate Netbenefits as an update option) on July 30 when prompted by Update. The Netbenefit accounts stopped getting stock price updates (Pool based Equities) and no transaction updates. The only way to get transaction updates was if I reset the account and went through the re-authorization steps. When I did get updates, the names of the transactions have changed versus prior to the migration. As others mentioned it also changed how have been managing core account money market fund for decades on my brokerage accounts. I would advise folks to wait until Quicken and Fidelity have validated it is working.

I had to re-authorize my 4 Fidelity Investments accounts 4 or 5 times over several days before they became usable. So things seem to remain in flux.

I now have only one remaining issue, QWin wants to show my one taxable brokerage account cash as the underlying money market fund. I prefer to see it as cash. I can do so by ignoring Q's stupid - but ignorable - warning.

I have no NetBenefits, so can't help with that, sorry.
