Hello @Argiguy ,
Thanks for bringing this up. I’d like to gather a few more details so we can better understand what’s happening with your Schwab downloads:
- Are the incorrect values showing up as wrong share quantities, prices, or both?
- Does this occur only with SWPPX and SWVXX, or are other securities in your Schwab account affected as well?
- If you compare against your Schwab online statement, do the balances match there but not in Quicken?
- Did this start recently, or have you noticed it over multiple updates?
This information will help determine if the issue is tied to specific securities or part of a broader download problem.

Observing data in my Schwab account I see one transaction per month, when a small bit of interest is paid, so the updates are working. However about two weeks ago Schwab did a 6:1 stock split of SWPPX - that transaction has not shown up after several days and multiple updates. The balance in my Schwab account is now off by a factor of six.
I spoke with Schwab who said the problem is not with Schwab, rather it is a Quicken issue that is "being worked on".

Hello @jdonalds,
Thank you for sharing! I'm glad to hear the issue has already been identified and is in work.
Thank you!

Look at the thread titled "shares of mutual fund incorrect after quicken update with schwab" in this group. It contains the manual 'fix'. Basically, Schwab did not provide (via a OSU) a 'stock split' transaction so Quicken knows nothing about the changed number of shares. Each of the 6 or so mutual funds that this was related to were identified in a press release (also pointed to by me in that referenced post) with a differing number of shares for split (eg: 10 for 1, 6 for 1, etc.) several months ago. People must have overlooked and were surprised when the effects hit their Quicken accounts (truth be told, so did I).
I doubt highly that this is a Quicken issue unless somehow Quicken botched the transaction download which I guess is possible. But just doing a manual single update as described in that post fixes the problem.

AndrewQ, thank you so much for posting this. I returned home from a vacation to find that my Schwab accounts were all messed up! Great to know that there is a fix.

Bgolden42 - Same as I in terms of coming back from a vacation early last week! So you entered the split manually and hopefully your total value matches your online Schwab account numbers?

AndrewQ: Yes, all was good. Thanks much.
