. Does the newest version still have the same features as I am used to with 2017. Also what is the price of the newest version. I only see what the subscription fee is. So is the subscription fee the actual price of the software of the is that a fee on top of the software purchase price.

    Hello @Toll Collector,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! The newest version of Quicken is the subscription version. The subscription version of Quicken does not charge any additional fee for the software. You pay the subscription fee every year. There are optional additional subscriptions for Quicken Online Backup and Quicken LifeHub.

The subscription version of Quicken should have most of the same features you're familiar with, so long as you are subscribing to the same tier as you initially bought (for example, if you have Quicken 2017 Deluxe, and you subscribe to the Deluxe version). There are a couple tools which are no longer supported. See this article for more information: https://www.quicken.com/support/installing-quicken-home-inventory-and-emergency-records-organizer/

    I hope this helps!

It's the same software for any subscription level, the subscription you buy determines which functions are turned on. Quicken Classic means it's the version that runs on your computer, as opposed to Quicken Simplifi which runs in the cloud.

They stopped putting the year on it after they switched to subscriptions, so it's just "Quicken Classic".

I only see Quicken classic with the word Deluxe is this the one I need. I am still a little confused. So you aren't buying the software. The down load is free but to use it you have to pay a subscription fee. Am I right.

Also Can I take the latest backup file from 2017 and import it into the new version. Sorry for allthe questions just a little nerous and make sure I am buy the right program.
