R64.23 Morningstar X-ray missing features

I just downloaded R64.23 for Q Premier Windows. The release notes claim to have "improved" the portfolio X-ray with new modern interface.

On the contrary, my xray interface looks the same but the following have changed for the worse —

  • Fixed income — no bond style grid shown (duration, interest rate sensitivity). Even if I customize the portfolio to include only bond funds/ETFs, it analyzes it as if it were a stock portfolio (cap size, value, growth, industry sectors etc)
  • Stocks analysis -
    • No longer identifies the benchmark (e.g. similar style portfolio or S&P 500) or allow choice between them
    • Does not identify an overall style for my portfolio (core, growth, small cap, undefined, etc)
    • Does not carry comments as before, such as certain sectors are over/underweight, or portfolio

I found all of those features very helpful on the previous Morningstar x-Ray in Premier, but now all of a sudden they are gone. Very disappointed.😓

Agree, the weak support for fixed income portion of the portfolio is now approaching zero.

    Kristina,

Thank you, but I don't quite get the point of your suggestion to suggest a NEW feature — the fixed income style box WAS a feature of Morningstar x-Ray exactly 1 week ago, and prior. It is just that it has been REMOVED in R64.23 - obviously an error in implementation as the 64.23 release notes say x-Ray is "improved." (Unless "improved" is Quicken-speak for "degraded" !!)

The path you suggest, creating an "Idea" post would likely take a long time for it to gather the requisite number of upvotes etc. to ever se the light of day. Someone at Quicken should prioritize this as a fix for a deficient new release.

I wonder if there is any way that I can revert to the previous version of Quicken (Premier) for Windows … to get the old feature back? I would not have accepted this new release if I had known it involved degrading the x-ray feature.

After reverting my Quicken Classic for Windows to R64.19, 😀the two X-Ray features missing from R64.23 are back - both the fixed income style box, and the ID/selection of portfolio benchmark.

I followed these instructions provided by @Quicken Kristina -

    https://www.quicken.com/support/reinstalling-and-patching-your-quicken-subscription-version-after-your-membership-has/#section-windows-3

starting at step 4 (ignoring 1-3 about expired membership), and selecting R64.19 as the patch to download.

Thank you @Quicken Kristina for sending that helpful tip!

Reverting back to R64.19 didn't work for me. But going back one more, to R63.21, did get me back to pre-"improved" version of Morningstar X-Ray. The "improved" version removed a great deal of functionality that users need. Thanks for posting these instructions.
