Are users still having problems connecting 2 Northwestern Mutual accounts in Quicken
I saw the post from June 2025, but I am just now trying to add NWM accounts. My husband and I both just opened NWM accounts and we want to have both in our Quicken Premier application but are unable to get both accounts to connect. Is there a limitations of Quicken having 2 separate accounts at the NWM? Or has this been resolved. If resolved, how? My account is set up, but when I tried to add my husband's account I get the error "We encountered an error while connecting to your bank" and a note underneath it stating that Quicken is having trouble connecting to Northwestern Mutual Inv Svs-NMIS.

I have five accounts at NMIS, and I have had no problems updating them. Three of these are IRA accounts (two registered to me, one to my wife), the other two are taxable accounts registered jointly to both of us. I run One Step Update every morning (including today) with no problems.
I'm running Quicken Premier R64.30 on Windows 11 home (current on updates to both).

Thank you for reaching out. Are you authorized users on each other's accounts? If so, are you making sure to use the primary account holder login information when connecting the accounts (often times, authorized users don't have permissions to connect to 3rd party apps, like Quicken)? Are you seeing any error code when you attempt to connect? If possible, please provide a screenshot of the error message you're seeing (please redact any personal information/account numbers). If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.

I'm unable to link my wife's accounts. I'm logged into Quicken with my ID. I used her credentials to attempt the account link. I see the request on NW Mutual site and approved there. Quicken still will not get past the error
Any suggestions?
