Please forgive me if I mess up the dates below somewhat. I'm old and the stuff I am talking about happened a very long time ago. 😉 If there is a better place to post this, please let me know.
I began using Quicken DOS, I believe, in the late 1980s. I was also very involved in CompuServe, one of the first online messaging boards. I had found some email addresses for some of Intuit's executives and began harassing them to put their support online and specifically on CompuServe. I guess they got tired of my emails so when they did decide to go on CompuServe they asked me to be their Forum Leader (basically the top volunteer on the forum). I did that for quite a few years, as I recall.
On July 22, 1994 USA Today published an article about Quicken on the front page of their Money section. Along with the article was a photo of a computer screen with Quicken on it, surrounded by me and my family. And now we finally get to the purpose of this too long post.
I have a paper copy of that day's paper, but I would really like to find an online version. So far I've been unable to find it, either here or on USA Today's website. Does anyone know of someone I could contact to see if an electronic version of this article exists? I'd appreciate any suggestions or help you can provide.
TIA.
