Quicken keeps insisting my balance at Fidelity is off by my exact balance.
There are a myriad of problems with this new Fidelity/Quicken cut over but right now I will concentrate on one. If the balance in my Quicken checking account is at say $500 which matches my actually balance at Fidelity, Quicken will insist my balance is off by those $500 and wants a balance adjustment of $500. This will repeat itself every single time. Yes, I have checked all my transactions. There are no placeholders transactions to fix etc. as I have been told. And this is happening in several of my accounts. HELP

I have the exact problem. It is treating the core position as a mutual fund balance, and showing the cash balance as 0.
The windows version appears to have a fix that was released in 9/2025, but the Mac version doesn't have it yet. The fix appears to be an option for quicken to display the core fund balance as the cash balance.
I hope that we will get it soon.

Hello @Maria52Girgis & @qrdtvvwx,
Thank you for sharing your experience! The change to how Money Market Funds/Cash are represented in Fidelity accounts is a known issue. If you haven't already done so, please follow these instructions from our Community Alert to correct the issue:
If your cash balance is incorrect, please perform a reconciliation with the online balance and enter an adjustment to correct the cash balance. From that point on, you will be good to go.
Please let me know how it goes!

This does not work either. On Friday I was speaking to someone at Quicken and we went through a number of things including having me create a test file. In the end we had the same problem, at this point she told me "well they are still working on it and we will see what happens next week". She was then supposed to give me a case number which she did not and just disconnected me. I do have the transcript though.

Thank you for your reply,
I reviewed your contact with Support, ticket 11982806. In the chat, you mentioned that Quicken kept wanting to add 3 funds. Which funds are these? Are they core positions that should be represented as cash? Are they the reason for the balance discrepancy?
Thank you!

Yes, they are core positions that should be represented as cash. I have now manually changed every single interest transaction from 3 different banks Fidelity used since 2019 for every month of the year. That fixed the problem and it now reconciles although I don't care for the light grey font color of the balances you now use. For some reason on the website this account now does not show any transactions because it now claims I have no holdings in there. This is my money management account not my investing accounts. Is there a way to fix this so I can see my transactions? All I can see is my balance. I have many more problems in my investing account but I will make a separate post for those.

As of this morning Oct 8th, the correct Core position cash balance figures are being reported in the all the Fidelity account downloads on my Quicken Mac version 8.3.2!!
Cross your fingers this fix stays!! If so it looks as if we are back to normal.

Thank you for the follow-up @Maria52Girgis,
I'm glad to hear the manual corrections got everything to reflect correctly again. If you're not seeing your transactions reflecting on Fidelity's website, I'd recommend reaching out to Fidelity for assistance.
Hello @Gary Fisher,
Thank you for sharing! I'm glad to hear everything is showing correctly!
Please let us know if you need assistance!
