50 Year Mortgages in Quicken for Mac
Please refer to this discussion / Idea in the Quicken for Windows area for some background.
I had heard about an idea being floated about in Washington: Let's make 50 year mortgages available.
(Let's not discuss the pros and cons of mortgages with terms greater than 30 years here. That's not the place in this discussion, but, if you must, feel free to start a new, separate discussion)
As you can read in the above discussion, Quicken for Windows does not currently support adding a new offline mortgage account with a term greater than 40 years.
I requested a change be made to Quicken for Windows to support 50 year terms (and possibly longer terms than that).
My question here for the Mac users is: Can you add a new offline mortgage account in Q Mac with a term of 50 years?
Does that work or will a change have to be applied to Q Mac?

Quicken Mac will let you create mortgages up to 60 years long - over 60 it will flag as an error. So no change is required on the Quicken Mac side to support a 50 year mortgage.

I suspect they'd probably stop at 99 so they don't have to modify the UI for a third digit.

@Jon Thanks for pointing this out! I went ahead and updated the Idea status.
Thank you!
