PNC - 12/4 Download Duplicated Recent Transactions (QMAC)

So, once again looks like PNC issues. Been working fine since the last fiasco. Then this am, when I downloaded it didnt match transactions, it actually added them again — one was added twice in addition to the one I already had entered!! and, one that my bank has marked as cleared did not clear on download. I was able to remove dups and manually clear that one and it reconciled.

But, what is going on? Anyone else?

    gald I am not alone. Happened again this am 12/4. and now my Savings Account can not reconcile. The ONLINE Balance doesnt match what my bank site has as balance, even thought the transaction has cleared and posted. This is ridiculous. AND THEY ARE RAISING THE SUBSCRIPTION PRICES on me 1/1.. Absolute nonsense.

    5 DEC 2015 - Still duplicate and triplicate transactions.

    I had the first dupes on Nov 11 or 12. All ok after that until today, had one transaction that showed triple. I also have another issue with Qkn relating to connection, ("Did you mist-ype your log in credentials" pop up). Don't know if they're related or not but started about the same time. I've spent several hours on chat and phone with Qkn, they're supposedly working on it.

    1. Examples of the duplicate transactions – Please provide a few specific transactions that have duplicated so we can see the pattern.
    2. Downloaded ID (FITID) – For each example, include the downloaded ID from the Quicken download (if available).
      1. You can enable the FITID column by clicking the Columns button at the bottom of the register and selecting FITID image.png

    You can submit this information here in the thread, or along with your log files, screenshots, and a sanitized copy of your data file via Help > Report a Problem in Quicken—Attn: CTP‑15396. Let us know when you have done so.

    Do we have any idea when this is going to be fixed? I'm getting very frustrated with this.

    At this time, our product and development teams do not provide estimated timelines or release dates for fixes. However, this issue (CTP-15396) is actively being worked on with our teams and our service provider.

    See the Alert that was posted about this issue earlier today. It seems like the issue was short-term and resolved by PNC.:

    Hello All,

    Thank you, @Boatnmaniac, for sharing the Community Alert—this is correct.

    Our teams have confirmed that the duplicate transactions were caused by an isolated PNC Direct Connect data migration issue and that the underlying issue has now been resolved. The Community Alert posted on 12/17/25 explains the cause and includes step-by-step guidance for reviewing and removing any duplicate transactions that may have downloaded between 12/1/25 and 12/10/25.

    If you were affected, we recommend following the troubleshooting steps outlined in that alert and comparing your Quicken register to your PNC online statements to ensure accuracy.

    Hello everyone,

    Thanks for your continued reports. We wanted to share an update from our development team.

    For those experiencing duplicate transactions with the “PNC Bank – Direct Connect” connection, a fix has already been deployed with the latest release. If you’re still seeing duplicates from before the fix took effect, you can safely delete those duplicate transactions as a cleanup step.

    If you are still encountering duplicate transactions and are not using “PNC Bank – Direct Connect”, we need a bit more information to continue the investigation. Please let us know the exact name of the PNC connection you’re using, which you can see via Accounts > Hide and Show Accounts > Financial institution column. in Quicken (example below).

    @Quicken Anja - Just confirming that I have seen no duplicate transactions downloaded for my PNC Bank - Direct Connect accounts since 12/10. Thanks to the Quicken Team for addressing this with PNC!
