Online setup for Tri Counties Bank Fails after many years or flawless service
After using OneStepUpdate on Tri Counties bank for years it now fails since Nov'25. 'Reset Account' deactivated the connection entirely forcing me to 'Set Up now' as if it were a new account. The set up asks for user name and password and then correctly asks for 2-step authentication (which indicates Q is communicating with bank). I select my mobile phone and next it fails: "Oops. We're having a problem cc-501" . Error message also says 'do not contact' the bank.
As a work around I used File Import QFX. It worked in Nov'25 but is now failing in Dec'25.
I'm wondering if Q is aware and looking into this issues.

Hello @Ron Honig,
Thanks for the details. Error CC-501 indicates that Quicken is being blocked from connecting to the bank’s servers.
Please review this CC-501 support article for reference, but here’s a quick overview:
What to do:
- Please wait 24 hours and try updating again.
- If the error continues afterward, the next step is to contact Quicken Support. This specific error often requires a support agent to review your logs and escalate the issue so it can be corrected.
Thank you!
