PNC will not update checking accounts
My PNC checking accounts have not updated since 12/31/2025. All other PNC accounts seem to be updating fine.

Thank you for letting us know you're encountering this issue. To help troubleshoot, please provide more information. Are you seeing any error messages/codes? Are the accounts connected via Express Web Connect or Direct Connect? You can check this by navigating to Tools>Account List and looking in the Transaction Download column next to the problem accounts.

Web connect. It seems to be working now after I refreshed my connection to PNC from Quicken.

I have to update my connections to get new transactions to any of my PNC checking, savings, or credit card accounts. Even then, it is often not correct on internal bank transfers. I have to do this every day.
I am getting very tired of this problem. PNC has been zero help.

- What do you mean by update? Are you resetting the accounts, deactivating them and re-adding, etc.?
- Are you seeing any error messages/codes?
- If you're not seeing any errors, then please provide details on exactly what is happening.

I often have to reset my accounts to receive transactions. I had to do it today on one checking account. My other PNC accounts seemed work fine, no error messages. Seems wrong to need to randomly reset accounts.

While it is normal for financial institutions to want you to periodically reconnect accounts, especially when connected via Express Web Connect/Express Web Connect+, that should be no more frequent than every 90 days. Based on your description of the issue, it sounds like this is happening much more frequently than that.
Please backup your file, then navigate to Tools>Account List. If you see the option to show hidden accounts (if you have hidden accounts, this option will be at the lower left of the account list), please select that option.
Then, review your account list to check for any PNC accounts which think they're connected in Quicken, but are closed or inactive on the financial institution side. If Quicken thinks an account is connected, you will see "Yes" and the connection type listed in the Transaction Download column.
If there are any closed/inactive accounts which are showing connected in Quicken, please deactivate those accounts. Then, test to see if the issue persists.
