Bank of America - Reauthorization Error
I found this resolution online, and it worked for me
Log in to your Bank of America account, go to security, third party, revoke Quicken
Log out of Bank of America
Log back into Bank of America
When you get that pop-up directing you to go to Quicken within 10 minutes, hit decline
After logging into Bank of America, log back out
Go to Quicken
Pick any of your Bank of America accounts and add it to connect, then choose Bank of America
Sign in to Bank of America using your username and password
You should get a confirmation code
Enter that, and you should be able to get back to being able to get back to normal access

I will try that tonight. Crossing my fingers.
tried this and it worked. Now my seven accounts update: 4 checking and 2 credit cards and HELOC. Thank you1 -
After switching from Edge to Chrome and following these steps, I finally had success.

I'm stuck on the second bullet. I don't see anything about revoking Quicken third party.

for michael7572 - go to Security Center, scroll down to Data Sharing and click on Review to see and revoke Quicken. (Surprising to me, it shows updated yesterday, so I'm going to try and reconnect and download before revoking and going through the process again.)

UGH! Apparently, it's still messed up. I keep getting a HTTP Status 400 - Bad Request error message from BofA after I consent to share my data. I'm pretty sure it's a BofA problem.

This actually worked for me. On my account Data Sharing wasn't part of the Security Center option, I had to drill down an additional level, but I got there and revoked Quicken's access.
Before I attempted to connect the account in Quicken I removed the ZZZ that appears before the bank name after it fails. When I tried connecting it actually worked in my Brave browser and I didn't need to switch to Edge, as I have to do with Chase when authenticating.
The test for me is whether or not this will stick or if it'll fall apart again.

Thank you! That worked for me after being on the phone with B of A for over an 1.5 hour. B of A came back with the solution of we don't support Quicken any longer. So Thank You it worked!!

Hello All,
So happy to hear that so many of you are finding success!
@John Campbell, are you still getting the HTTP-400 error? If so, we do have an open escalation ticket for this issue. If you want to be added to that escalation, you can go to Help>Report a Problem>Send to Quicken and submit log files.
Let me know if you do this, so we can add it to the ticket.
Thank you!

I spent 20 mins with B of A on this - kept getting a "user not authorized" after logging in. This solution worked - order did not matter but I have been getting the Accept/Decline my third party access up B of A login for some time and had the zzz-Bank of America as my connection.
The Key was to both "Decline" and revoke authorization. both were needed to "reset" my accounts with BofA.
Thanks for the assistance

Thanks … this was helpful and did work … but, question … it "created" a new account in my account list … it did not allow me to "link" or merge with an account already set up. Is it possible to now merge 2 accounts into 1 account now?

Take all data from the old account and move it to the new. Not ideal but the alternative is to revoke it again and see if it gives that option. In my failed attempts it didn't give me an option and didn't connect. I guess in your case it did connect but once I got the revoke done properly I had the option back.
The problem is obviously on BofA's end with tokens that don't automatically get replaced by new ones. And that they told someone here that BofA no longer supports Quicken? I'd be all over them for that response if I were Quicken.

Thank you for your reply,
If it did not let you link to the original account, then to merge the accounts, backup your Quicken file, and move the transaction history from the old account into the new. For information on moving transactions, please see this FAQ:
Review the new account to make sure all of the needed history is there and to confirm that there are no duplicate transactions. Once everything is good in the new account, you can delete the old one.
I hope this helps!
