UPDATE! 3/16/26 Windows - Oakmark Funds / Janus - Issues with password during account update
We have received several contacts from customers who are encountering issues updating accounts with Oakmark Funds and Janus via Direct Connect in Quicken Classic for Windows. Customers whose bank account password for either of the financial institutions is saved in the Quicken password vault are prompted to enter a password for their bank account and ultimately receive an error message stating, “The information Quicken has from [FI NAME] is that the password can be no longer than 8 characters long.”
Our teams are actively investigating the cause and working toward a resolution. We will share updates as more information becomes available.
