Why isn't the issue with Portfolio Xray Not Getting More Attention?

One of the cooler features of Quicken Premier is the Stock Intersection view. But now VTI, a very commonly held ETF, is marked as unclassified in Portfolio X-Ray. This means securities in the ETF aren't included in stock intersection, giving an inaccurate representation of what proportion of stocks you hold in your portfolio.

From what I've read, beyond Portfolio X-Ray and a few other bells and whistles, there is little difference between Quicken Premier and Deluxe. So next time I buy a renewal, I may as well switch to Quicken Deluxe if this isn't getting resolved.

So why does it seem to be getting such a low priority?

Q can't fix this. It's a Morningstar issue … you're barking up the wrong tree.

And, we're other users, so your threat to downgrade products is falling on deaf ears.

This actually has been resolved. After the latest refresh, it worked. Funny, I finally say something, and I discover it's resolved 20 mins later.

My Portfolio X-Ray is completely inaccurate. I have a broadly diversified portfolio of stocks and a significant investment in 15 different mutual unds. Asset Allocation table shows 20.15% in non-US stocks but World Regions table shows 100% North America. Stock Style shows 78% in Midcap Value Stock Intersection shows only 3 stocks despite the fact that I have multiple S&P 500 index funds (value, growth …).

I can't trust anything from the X-Ray.

What can I do?

It is wonky.

Try reselecting the accounts and securities, even if you have chosen All accounts and All securities, and clicking on Refresh X-Ray.

Also Morningstar's analysis only includes publicly traded securities with valid ticker symbols. If you hold private funds, as often found in 401(k)s, they will not be included.

Don't believe the AI analysis, It always says your portfolio is conservative.

Please let un know if that fixes or at least explains the allocations for you.

IMO, since the AI analysis, in its current form, is useless, Quicken should just go back to the previous version of the analysis that was place.

That's kind of not relevant to this discussion. This was more about the stock intersection issue. I haven't played around with the AI analysis enough, but yeah, I wouldn't expect much from it at all. It's just a gimmick. The important part is that stock intersection works.

Also note that as of R67.7, you can now print the X-Ray, including the stock intersection.
