Downloaded Transactions Match but Create Duplicate, uncategorized, Transactions
This has been occurring for months now and impacts multiple FI's such as Chase and Citibank. Recurring transactions are in the registers - downloads from the FI's show a match but, instead of adding a "c" to the transaction in the register, it instead adds the downloaded transaction to the register without a category leaving the original transaction as uncleared and duplicated.

Thank you for sharing what you’re experiencing with downloaded transactions.
This is a known issue that other users have also reported, where Quicken creates a new transaction instead of matching the existing one. To help us investigate further, I would appreciate it if you could provide additional details by submitting a report through Quicken and including your log files. This will allow us to forward the information to the appropriate team for review.
To send your logs:
- Open Quicken
- Click Help
- Select Report a Problem
- Click Send to Quicken
