Portfolio view daily gain totals don't add up is puzzling

Question

In my Portfolio view, "Day Gain/Loss", the sum of the totals for each account doesn't add up to the grand total.

What am I missing ? Is there a "hidden account" or calculation that is being included that I do not know about??

If I create a separate portfolio view of just one account that has several securities within it the same error happens. The individual gains when summed do not equal the total shown in quicken.

I have tried validation but the calculation stays the same.

Suggestions welcomed as I am truly puzzled.

Hi  I tried the advice given but the problem hasn't gone away.

A simple macro calculation helped track down the potential culprit. If I use the total market value of all holdings at the end of the day (after all mutuals have been reported) and subtract from that the total market value the day before i should get the daily total increase. The excel export helped here . This number did not match the total of all the individual day gains from each holding. The market values are individually correct except for one security . I have checked them with brokerages such as Fidelity, Vanguard, Etrade .

I remain puzzled how to correct this one holding .

This may be caused by a long-standing issue where the Day gain loss is sometimes not displayed correctly.

Try changing the As of date back by one day then return to the current date.

Does that fix it for you?
