Withdrawal showing as deposit?!

I just downloaded my current banking information. I was surprised when I had a $22,000 difference. I found the problem. When I made a transfer to another account Quicken marked those as Deposits instead of withdrawals. How do I change those to withdrawals and correct it so future transactions don't do this?

So what shows in the other account … because it should have been wrong also.

And, in the account where the money originated, what shows in the Category field? For a transfer, it should have been the name of the other account enclosed in square brackets, e.g. [other account name].

When transferring from banking account A to account B, you would enter the transaction in Account A a positive number in the Payment column or a negative number in the Amount column. The signs would be reversed in the receiving account.

Is that what you did?
