When adding a New Idea post, include Macintosh Quicken Classic to the drop-down categories.
"Ideas for Mac Classic" is already an option when I try begin to start a New Idea.
WHERE are you expecting to see it that you're not finding it?
Edit: Wait, I see what's happening. All the categories beneath "Ideas for Mobile" are really the Mac subcategories - Ideas for Mobile doesn't actually have any subcategories below it. So all the Mac categories are there, it's just misleading you into thinking they are something else. The menu order needs to change, that's all.
If you're looking at the top level Categories page and click on the New Post button and select New Idea, when you then click to select a Category for your idea none of the Mac idea forums are listed. "Ideas for Mac Classic" is shown but grayed out and not selectable, and none of the Mac sub-forums below it are listed:
If you navigate to the top level Ideas for Mac Classic forum and click on the New Idea button, the same thing happens when you try to assign a category.
You have to navigate down to the specific Mac idea subcategory where you want the idea to appear and then click on the New Idea button - then the idea is automatically assigned to the forum you're looking at, bypassing the menu problem.
I have yet to find any place where the Mac idea forums are listed when you are asked to assign a category to a new idea post.
Ideas for Canada Classic seems to have the same issue.
It appears something is broken…
@Quicken Janean or other mods, please take a look…
@Quicken Janean How is this problem still unresolved? It's been this way for a very long time.
