Data for Payee not displayed in Search Results.

There is an issue when I initiate a search via Edit > Find and enter 'Find: Category; Contains: Business Income, then Find All.

The Payee column is displayed but no data is populating the field. I tried to disable the column and re-enable it but still the data is missing. I have verified that there is data present in the register.

Are there any thoughts about how to solve this? I believe this started happening recently. It does not occur every time. When I re-entered the search. Payee was displayed/

We need a bit more date to assist with this. Can you please post a graphic, from your OnPoint Checking account, a graphic of that first (-$65) transaction and another of that $37.50 transaction so that we can see what's actually in your account?

Thank you for looking at this. Here is a screen fragment showing the -$65, and for the two $17 transactions in 6/2025.

The redacted info is personal information. In the $37.50 transaction I would need to redact the whole payee field.

Absolutely not sure why the Payee Name field shows blank in the Search Results dialog.
However, the dialog was recently modified. It now has a Columns icon where you can select which columns to display in the dialog. Look for the icon in the title column, next to the Amount title. Click it to select it and add a column to it, e.g., Memo.
Let's see if that clears the problem.
If not, contact Quicken Support on the phone during posted hours of operation and request help. Let them do a screen share session with you to review the situation on your computer, to determine the nature of the problem and to figure out how to fix it.

Yes, I did attempt to change the columns as you suggested. I turned off then back on the Payee field and it didn't solve it I turn on the Memo field and it displayed correctly. I closed then opened the same search parameters and the Payee field was visible.

So unless I can determine a sequence to reproduce this, I'll just have to chalk it up to a 'glitch'.

SWAG (scientific wild-a** guess), I notice that in your checking account that both txn involve Zelle. Is that consistent across these transactions with the missing payee?

What happens if you search for JUST Zelle, or the combination of "Business Income" and "Zelle"?

Also, in the Payee field of the checking account, are there any special characters (i.e., not letters or numbers)? If so, which?

No, not all are to/from Zelle. Also, some have special characters, some don't. The ones into Onpoint HCALLC account are check deposits. The Zelle ones are deposits to the Onpoint Checking. I was searching for transactions with Category contains Business Income.

Hmm, how would one search for <category> AND <text>. I've never had an issue with special characters in Payee or Memo fields or Category fields for that matter.

To Make compound searches, you can go to Edit > Find and replace and click on the + sign at the end of the Find selection, like this:

Special characters are critical because SOME are known to screw-up Q's interfaces. It was, as stated, a SWAG, but the info as to WHICH could be useful.

BTW, In doing some experimenting, I've discovered that if I'm actually in an Investment type account when I initiate a Find All, I can reproduce your results … but not if I'm in another type account.

THAT is very interesting! I do have investment accounts also. I don't remember if that was the account I started the search. That sounds like something to report to Quicken.
