Quicken PDF Printer on Nul not working after update

Hi Everyone, I just received the R68.25 update. Now, I cannot print a report using the PDF Printer on Null. Errors: printer not found, or printer driver could not be found or initialized. It worked yesterday, but not after the update. I can print if I change the printer to a different PDF program printer. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

I'm getting the same thing … but I'm not sure WHY I'd want to use the "Quicken PDF driver on nul:" when I have others available.

And, I changed the title to more accurately reflect the situation.

I'm the treasurer for my HOA. About 110 homes. I just finished sending out invoices for an assessment. It was much easier to just click print and automatically have it go to my default folder for this operation. It is very fast. Opening another PDF printer takes longer to launch. However, if you're experiencing the same thing I can only conclude that other have also and that the update messed it up. I imagine a fix will be forthcoming. Thanks for your reply.

Hi NotACPA,

I did a chat with Q support AI. It gave me a link for an update that put me back to 67.10. That restored the PDF printer function.

This is the link that the AI assistant gave me. It should work for you. If it doesn't Google Quicken Support and sign in. Click on help and then chat. Say that the pdf printer doesn't work after an update. Important to say update. AI will understand and give you the link.

Have you had a chance to install the Quicken Patch, as suggested by @EdandPeg? If not, I'd recommend trying that, as it may resolve the issue you're experiencing.

It was my understanding that the 'patch' takes you back to an earlier version of Quicken. I'm already at 68.25. My situation is not so critical that it warrants reverting back to an earlier version of the software. I assume that there will be some update (fairly soon) to fix this. But, I wanted to post that I was also having the problem so that the Quicken Team would see it's not an isolated situation.

In the meantime, could you try resetting your printer settings by going to File > Validate & Repair > Reset all Quicken Printer Settings?

If the issue persists, you can also try printing using the Microsoft Print to PDF printer to see if that makes a difference.
