How do I use Quicken on 2 devices?

Question

I have Quicken classic for Windows.

Normally I use my desktop computer.

I'll be going on vacation and would like to access and update using my laptop.

How do I do that?

My other question is, when I get home, how do I get the same updates on my desktop?

Correct.  Q keeps the listed files in last used order, so the #1 file would be the last file used.

If you are using QMobile or QWeb, then the sync is of that portion of the data file is setup to be viewed/edited on interfaces.

If you aren't using QMobile or QWeb, then the sync is some generic data about your Quicken account and not any transactional data.

When you activate QMobile or QWeb, only 2-3 years of history is loaded to the cloud for the accounts that are chosen to be viewed/edited.

I always wondered when it says it "syncs" with the cloud if the whole file was there to be accessed by any device.
