I have Quicken Classic for Mac and I cannot connect to NFCU to download QFX. I have tried to set up the connection method but I get error messages from NFCU.
WHICH NFCU? Navy Federal, OR Nazarene Financial?
Hello @DZK,
Thanks for reaching out!
As @NotACPA requested—please confirm which NFCU you're referring to.
Also, could you clarify exactly what you are trying to do? Your post mentions downloading a QFX file, but it also sounds like you may be trying to set up an automatic connection in Quicken.
Could you let us know which of these you're attempting?
If you're receiving an error, please let us know where the error appears (on the financial institution's website or in Quicken) and, if possible, include the exact error message or a screenshot.
If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.
Thank you!
Navy Federal credit union
I used to download QFX files from Navy federal CU (NFCU) and then open them in Quicken classic for Mac . Now i need to "change the connection" when I follow the directions I get the message from NFCU that
"Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit."
I want to …
the error appears on the NFCU website "https://ssoauth.navyfederal.org/mfa/access"
and it states
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.
@DZK Thanks for clarifying and sharing these details. It sounds like this error is occurring during authorization.
Before diving into troubleshooting, can you confirm which browser you’re using?
We recommend using Chrome as your default browser as it’s generally the most compatible with Quicken’s online account connections.
If you are using Chrome and still seeing the “Bad Request” error, you can try the following:
If the same error appears even after trying the above, this likely points to an issue on NFCU's side, and you may need to wait and retry later or contact NFCU support directly.
Hope this helps!
