Online Center - PNC to PNC transfer not working

Sent a transfer from Money Market to Checking on 8/12 and it appeared to be successful. It shows "Sent" and no error codes. Transfer usually occurs overnight so it should have shown in Checking on the 13th. Did another Update/Send last night (8/13) even though transfer already showed as sent. Still no joy today (8/14), PNC shows no activity. Anyone else experience this and any thoughts on the issue?

Showing "Sent" alone in the check # field is not confirmation of it actually being received and confirmed by PNC. Generally it is something that is entered when a Reminder is entered into the register. It does not mean an Online Transfer (or Bank Bill Pay) command was actually sent to the bank.

When setting up the transfer transaction, it should have shown Ofxr (for Online Transfer) in the check # field.

Then when PNC confirms receipt and scheduling of the Ofxr command there will be a lightning bolt added to that check # field. Click on that lightning bolt will open a popup showing processing details of that transfer.

Showing "Sent" in that check # field leaves me to think that your Bank Bill Pay for both the checking account and the money market account have not yet been set up. Go to the Online Services tab of Account Details for each account and make sure that DC Bank Bill Pay has been enabled. It should look similar to what is highlighted in yellow in this picture (a different bank but the same applies to PNC):

Once DC Bank Bill Pay is enabled and you want to transfer funds between the accounts, make sure you select Ofxr (Online Transafer) for the type of transaction to be entered into the Check # field. Then run OSU and the process should complete properly.

If both PNC accounts are already set up for Bank Bill Pay as noted above, then perhaps the transfer command was not sent during OSU because PNC had been having connection issues earlier this month. I think it was first announced on 8/12 that the issue had been resolved but maybe that fix was not completed until after you had done OSU.

My suggestion: After verifying the DC and Bank Bill Pay are set up for each PNC account, change the transaction type in the Check # field from Sent to Ofxr (Online Transfer). Then run OSU, again.
