Fidelity, CC-501

Have not been able to update Fidelity Investment accounts since Aug 23. No problem with other accounts only Fidelity. Hidden accounts have been checked and are all correct. I've submitted a report to support around 5 days ago but still unable to update. Suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for letting us know about the issue you’re experiencing.

After reviewing my internal tools, I couldn't find the CC-501 error. However, I did find a CP_SERVER_ERROR associated with the issue. If you haven’t already, I recommend deactivating and reactivating the affected accounts, including any hidden or closed accounts.

Before following any of the troubleshooting steps, I suggest creating a backup file to ensure your data is protected.

To Deactivate the Account(s)

• Go to Tools > Account List.
• Select Show hidden accounts if applicable.

• Select the affected account and click Edit.
• Select the Online Services tab.
• Click Deactivate next to the service you want to disable.

• Click Yes to confirm.

Before reconnecting:

If these are joint accounts, I suggest reactivating them using the primary set of credentials and authorizing only under the primary username and password. If there is a secondary set of credentials associated with the same account, please do not authorize using those credentials. This will establish a clean connection to the account.

To Reactivate the Account(s)

• Go to Tools > Add Account.
• Select the financial institution for the deactivated account(s). If prompted, select the appropriate connection method.
• Enter the primary credentials and click Connect.
• When the list of found accounts appears, select LINK next to each account you want to reconnect.

• Click Next, then Done on the final prompt.
