transactions not downloading from fidelity since 9/3/26.
@rickf are you getting any error messages or error codes? There seems to be multiple reports of transactions not downloading for Fidelity Investments in the past month. Here are some threads -
There is also a Quicken Alert out there. It also may be related to your issue -
@rickf - For some (like me), doing Update Now (Account Register > upper right Gear icon > Update Now) resolved my CC-505 error code issue.
For some others the following steps resolved the issue for them…back up the data file before proceeding: Tools > Account List > Edit button for the account > Online Services tab > Deactivate…repeat for each Fidelity account) and then, after all Fidelity accounts have been deactivated, go to Tools > Add Account > select Fidelity Investments > when prompted, make sure to link the downloads to the Fidelity accounts already in Quicken.
Perhaps 1 of these will resolve the issue for you, too.
I believe I have identified at least one failure mode for these errors.
Fidelity apparently, silently deletes or disables inactive accounts after some number of years. If you still have those accounts enabled for online update/download, you get these failures.
I laboriously identified the deleted accounts, removed them from Online Setup in Quicken, no more download errors (for me).
Also, downloads are now quick again, rather than hanging for 10 to 20min and then giving errors. Well, quick for Quicken. Downloads could really use some work to speed them up, there's no reason for them to be this slow.
