How do I change "Financial Institution" in account list?

My mortgage company was bought out by another company. I would like to keep my original loan account and just change the account number and "Financial Institution" on the accounts page. It allows me to edit the information but it will not save it. Can anybody help?

If you're talking about changing the Account Name, as it appears in the Account Bar, you can change that any time in Edit Account Details, by changing the "Account name" field.
If you are talking about the Financial Institution name ... if the account is currently connected for transaction downloading, it cannot be changed unless you deactivate the account and then reactivate it using the new bank's name. Depending on your Quicken version, this may or may not be possible for loan accounts.
Don't forget to also change the Scheduled Reminder that you are using to record your monthly payments.

To modify the financial institution’s name associated with an account, we must first deactivate the Online Services setup for the account. If you haven't already, you may want to review: https://www.quicken.com/support/deactivate-online-banking-services-quicken-account. Note: For an online-activated loan account it may be necessary to convert the loan into a manual loan: https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7164936/faq-how-do-i-convert-a-loan-account-that-automatically-downloads-transactions-to-a-manual-entry-sc. Once the Online Services for the account have been deactivated, you should be able to edit the fields on the General tab of the Account Details window: open the account and press Ctrl + Shift + E.0
