What is the full path to your Quicken folder? After installing the new hard drive, how was the Quicken folder created?

Opps, sorry didn't see this was a Mac question.

The quicken folder is in my application, listed as an fidir.txt under documents. When I open it I get computer code for my account. I have a backup hard drive and time machine but neither one copied it. My quicken software is 2007. Does that make a difference?

Hopefully one of the Mac SuperUsers will be able to help you. I'm more familiar with Windows.

    Hello Janet. Appreciate your question.

Did you backup your Quicken file and save it an external hard drive (filename.quicken????)? If so, i would move this file to your Desktop so that you can access your current file.

Which version of Quicken do you currently have on your Mac?

Please let us know so that we can point you the right way.

    Respectfully,

@Janet Tufts  FIDIR.TXT is NOT your Quicken data file.  That a Quicken file that lists all of the Financial Institutions that Q has contracts  with to provide downloads.
If I understand QMac correctly, your Q data file will have a QDFM suffix.
