At startup

Hello, new to the group. My name is Gail

I’d like to know how to get Quicken to open automatically to my bank register.

Can someone help me with that please. I can’t even find out how to open it after I’ve started Quicken!

To have quicken open a specific register when you start Quicken, uncheck View > Use Pop-up registers and select the register in the Startup Location pull-down menu: select Edit > Preferences...

There are many ways to open a register in Quicken.  One way is to select the register from the Account Bar.

Okay. Now it’s pretty much a blank document. Where is this “register” on the “account “ bar someone else was talking about. Can’t find that either.
I’m pretty sure I did what you said, then restarted.

@obother55 it sounds like you have the Account bar hidden.

You can click on this icon to show it:

View -> Account Bar -> Dock Account Bar will also do it.
