can I exit Q2020 without saving file

Sometimes I'm screwing up and want to start over. How can I exit Q without saving the file

    You can't. 
    Because Q doesn't save transactions when you EXIT ... but rather when you press ENTER/SAVE to record the transaction.
    I'd suggest that you create a BACKUP after every time that you use Q, so that you can revert to that backup as needed.

    Each entry is saved when you make it.  You are working in a live file.  The only thing you can do is restore a backup from before.  So each time before you start making entries you should do a backup like to a flash drive.  I have several I rotate each time.  So if you know you are going to make more than a couple entries BACKUP  before.

    I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.
