Why am I unable to see income categories in my budget?

I have specified that they are to be included in this budget. And atone time I was even able to put data in. but how when I look at the budget I see only expense categories. I have tried creating a new budget with only income categories and they still do not display, It is as if I have opted to project and track only SPENDING.

@MGMQcommunity Thank you for the additional information.

To start with, if you haven't already, I suggest you try to Validate your data file by following the steps below. However, I do recommend that you also Save a backup of your data file first before trying these steps (just in case).
    1. Navigate to the File menu
    2. Select File Operations
    3. Validate and Repair...
    4. Select Validate file
    5. Click OK
    6. Close the Data Log
    7. Close Quicken (leave it closed for at least 5 secs)
    8. Reopen Quicken and see if the issue persists.
You can also try to Super validate by holding down the Ctrl + Shift keys on your keyboard while selecting Validate and Repair... (step 3) which will give you the option to Super validate file instead of Validate file.

Let us know how it goes!

    Hello @MGMCommunity,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community to tell us about your issue, though I apologize that you are experiencing this.

Could you please provide which version of Quicken you have currently running?

How long ago did you first notice this issue started? Have you tried changing the filter view settings (i.e.: Graph vs Annual view, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly, etc) to see if the same issue occurs in all or specific view settings?

Please, check back and let us know! Thank you.

    Thank you for reply.

I am running Quicken Home and Business Version R31.20 Build 27.1.32.1 in Windows 10. I am running Windows on a Mac using Parallels Desktop.

I am not sure when I noticed. I added the income categories to the budget in the last three months. I know that I saw the income categories at some point because I entered income data that shows when I run the budget vs. actual report.

Yes, I can confirm that this problem occurs under all view settings.
