ScholarShare 529 (California) Aggregator Support

Not sure if the Quicken team ever looks at these or not, but I'm wondering what the chances are that Quicken might add support for SholarShare 529's new aggregator for downloading account value: https://www.cascholarshare529.com/cadtpl/aggregator/sessionCreate/viewCollectAggrCredentials.cs

    Hello @KevinUSCU

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Community to ask your question, although I apologize that you have not received a resposne.

If you want Quicken to be supported, you will need to contact your financial institution directly and tell them you'd like to download your accounts into Quicken. The financial institution will need to make the decision to support Quicken.

If a financial institution is interested in becoming a supporting financial institution they will want to visit the website here.

    I hope this helps!

Hi @Quicken_Tyka it is strange that CA ScholarShare aggregator site (listed in KevinUSCU's note) is supported by [Removed - Solicitation] (as GoldenState ScholarShare) but this is not supported by Quicken?

Please the TekPortal team to add CA ScholarShare support to Quicken.

    Hello @mkatz

If the listed web address is incorrect you'll want to contact the FI to have them change the address. We at Quicken are not able to change it. If you'd like more information here is an article explaining it as well.

If you have any other questions please let us know!

    Thanks,

I totally understand and agree to needing the financial institution to confirm any changes. The part that puzzles me a little is Quicken putting the responsibility for contacting said financial institutions onto its paying customers. That's obviously a choice the Quicken team can make, but also one which will factor into my decision whether to continue with Quicken at the end of my current subscription. Don't take this completely the wrong way; in general I am a big fan of Quicken, but this particular policy does give me pause.
  • I agree, this seems like something that the Quicken team should be trying to resolve not asking us their customers to resolve!

It's not a problem for Q itself.  It's YOUR problem. Call the FI, who will respond more quickly to you than they will to Q.

From https://cdn.unite529.com/jcdn/files/CAD/pdfs/aggrfaqs.pdf, an FAQ from California Scholarshare on aggregator services:
"Why is my Aggregator service no longer working?"
"Your aggregator service has not created a new URL for your 529 plan. If that is the reason your
service is no longer working, please reach out to your aggregator service provider."
