    There is an Alert posted about Amex connection issues.  Perhaps your issue is related to this?:  ONGOING 8/25/21 American Express Returns OL-293/294, CC-503/103, or CC-502/102 Error.
    Also, when OSU fails and these error codes are returned, sometimes doing Update Now (Account register > upper right Gear icon > Update now) will work.  If you have not already done so, you might want to try doing that.

    AMEX is tinkering with their site. I have pending transactions that have completely disappeared from the site. Fidelity Full View (a Quicken-like web-based product offered to Fidelity customers) is also unable to update AMEX transactions. I'm pretty sure the problem is on the AMEX end.

    This morning I am also receiving an OL-294-A error on our AMEX card, was fine yesterday. Update Now does not cure the problem.

    Arggh ... Problem with AMEX update again today: OL-294-A all accounts. Did a "Report a problem" Any suggestions?

    All morning for the last several hours I get this error when attempting an online update with American Express. I suppose it will eventually clear itself out.

    Same here -- OL-294-A. This is the second day this occurred. Quicken Premier Windows 10 Enterprise, Build 27.1.35.26.

    I'm getting the same OL-294A error querying my American Express account on 9/1/2021.

    This error started 09/01/21 in the AM. Ticket number 8824376. No ETA.

  • Also getting OL-294-A error today on American Express. Seems to be a frequent occurrence after the last several updates - not always the same financial institution but routine issues connecting with at least one account.

    Well, I must have offended the online gods somehow because mine was not working this morning. So I deactivated and then reactivated the AmEx online access for each card, which did the trick. Why I have to jump through these hoops, though, is beyond me. And I should note as well that Quicken then hung for quite a long time on reestablishing mobile access to these accounts.
