Reducing the size of a Quicken file

My latest Quicken file has transactions from 2014 to present. I wouldn't want the file to get too large. Is there some way to create a new file with just the transactions for the last three years, for example?

Hello @rrtorrenti,
Thank you for contacting the Quicken Community with this question.
Unfortunately, with Mac, there is no way to reduce your data file size or transfer specific transactions to a different file.
However, there is currently an idea post that has been created for this feature to be added to Mac, you may follow the link here and add your vote to hopefully get this idea sent over to our development team and added!
I hope this helps.
